CYP450 specific activity

Hi,

What is the difference in expressing CYP450 specific activity in these units?

nmol product/min/mg protein

nmol product/min/nmol CYP450

Which one is better? In my case, I determined the cyp450 content by differential spectrophotometry with CO in microsomes from rat liver.

Anybody knows?
