Who else loves it when a pipette tip catches on the container as you raise the pipettor, briefly bringing the whole box with it so that it crashes down and spills its contents around the bench? Why does it even happen?

I managed to do this right in front of my supervisor on my first week...smooth. Since then i realised that it is mostly from tilting the pippette as your pull out the single tip, causing it to momentarily catch the side and cause general lab chaos/mockery.

It would be nice if all the producers and companies would agree to a design and size standard for both tips and boxes....

I don't love it either... and this happens to me as well...
I always prepare a few more boxes just in case.
