I was wondering if there is anyone on this forum that has experience with measuring eye pressure (preferably in mice) with the Tonolab (Icare rebound tonometer).
I am currently doing IOP measurement in mice, but I have been getting very variating results. I'll measure one eye, with the values being pretty constant usually, then the other eye may give a very different value. And when I return to the first eye, the measurements are often very different than the one from 5 minutes before. I haven't been able to find a pattern.
Are there other people with the same problems? Or better yet, anyone with ideas or solutions?
PS: I currently sedate my mice with 1.5 to 2% isoflurane.
