I want to purify a antigen, and i got its rabbit form antibody IgG
I dont have DMP/DSS and it will take few weeks to order and for its arrived
but i got some CNBr activated Sepharose , i know that it will attached to the amino group of the protein
will it be effective for binding IgG without losing the activity of IgG?

Thanks for any advice!!!

cnbr-sepharose will bind the antibody but its orientation will be random. because of this not all of the bound antibodies will be active.

if you are referring to crosslinking the antibody to protein A (or G or A/G) agarose, then yes. this way all of the antibodies should be active for capture of your antigen.
