HI,

I have to detect cleaved caspase-3 (17kDa)  using western.  How much percentage gel should I be using and shall I try gradient gel?

Hola, to see a 17KD band isn´t necessary to make a gradient gel; with a 12% gel it will run near the botton and in a 15% around the half.Using any of the common colored marker you could follow the 14 kd band and 21 kd band. Good luck
