Hi,
Can somebody help me with this??
I need to calculate the specific activity of an enzyme -
The information available is as follows:
- the molar extinction is 8800 M-1 cm-1
- rate (change in absorbance per minute) is 0.01
- amount of protein taken is 200 micrograms
- reaction volume is 200 ul
** Also i am a bit confused with the units - for expression of the results so can someone pls provide a stepwise description of the calculation with the above example!
