Does anyone know of any peptide markers for native PAGE ~4kDa? I found some low range markers but they seem to be for SDS PAGE.

you can use the peptide marker kit from ge healthcare. resuspend in water or suitable buffer instead of the sds-urea loading buffer recommended in the instructions that come with them.

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw that one too but I wasn't too sure if it would work for native PAGE since it was intended for SDS PAGE. I know some SDS-PAGE protein markers cannot be used for native PAGE, possibly due to dissociation of oligomers. Would such complications apply to the said peptide marker eg. difference in conformation?

i haven't seen any problem using them in a native gel. you can confirm that by running 2d (native/sds) page on the markers.
most sds-page markers can't be used in native page because they have already been denatured with sds.
