hi....
If i have the mRNA sequence of a purfied protein, and want to clone a specific cDNA for thaumatin protein (So need thaumatin from the mRNA i already have but don`t know what encode thamatin) via RT-PCR.  How can I design a specific primer for thaumatin from all the mRNA sequence.

what do you have?

Do you know the DNA sequence of your protein?
Do you know the AA sequence of your protein?
May your PCR products be long, your protocols short and your boss on holiday
