I wanted to inquire about certain things:

· I wish to characterize and compare (with other similar protein molecules) my soil protein from mycorrhiza hence I wanted to know what are the methods that can be used to do so,
· I also want to clone a cDNA for mass production of the protein, hence can u please suggest me any protocol for doing it specially for making a competent cell.

I know u all r very busy, but if u could help me I would be very grateful.
