Hi,

I would like to test whether our iCycler thermocycler is operating within uniformity specifications set forth in the manual.
Specifically, the manual states that the Uniformity standard is: "Well-to-well uniformity of +/-0.4 degrees C within 30 seconds after arrival at 90 degrees C".

Any ideas about how to test whether this is actually true?
Bio-Rad has annoyed me with their poor responses, despite us having a service contract with them..and I want to be sure the machine is working within specifications.

I have a temperature "Sample Probe" that connects into the machine, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use this for calibration/specification assessment purposes.
