Hi all, I'm novice in this field and I want to snap freeze mice skeletal muscle in isopetane cooled with liquid nitrogen. I wonder if the quality grade of isopentane has to be high or if 99% pure solution as supplied by Sigma (M32631) is ok. I've seen many advices related to the handling of tissue and security, but nothing related to the purity of isopentane. I suppose it is not a crucial element.......
