Hi,

I will be expressing and purifying a protein in bacteria cells to be used in multiple assays such as immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, and western blot.  I was curious as to whether there are fusion tags that are favored for an individual assay or if a single tag would be sufficient?  Or more importantly which tags have commercially available antibodies that are reliable for each of the mentioned assays.  I am willing to make multiple proteins if necessary.  Oh ya, what fusion tag do is best for purification too?  Thanks
