Quick question:

SNPs in CpG dinucleotides eg. CG/T. with the G allele the CpG is methylated, with the T allele there is no metylation. I assume this is a common occurrence but how common and does anybody have a good reference?

Cheers

Jabbari and Bernardi (2004). Cytosine methylation and CpG, TpG (CpA) and TpA frequencies. Gene 333 (2004) 143–149.

I have PM'ed you the paper.

All the best.
