Hi,

I'm using the lighcycler 480 for doing qPCR.
I assume that my primers are labeled with FAM since i only detect amplification when i click on the "Filter comb: 465-510"
When i click on filtercomb 533-580, i dont detect anything at all.
So i assume that if my primers were labeled with HEX, i have to use the filercomb 533-580?

greetz,

susan

You use labeled primers? What for? Usually probe is labeled or mix contains SYBR which emits in the 465-510 filter combination.
Anyway, there is table with corresponding filters in the Instrument Operators manual on page 56-7, and yes, HEX is in the filter 533-580 combination.
Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.

I never trust anything that can't be doubted.
