how to detect a knowen protein's receptor?

hi, i have a bacterium membrane protein, i have find that this protein is associated with immune, so i want to find receptor of this protein, but i do not know how to do, i need some help.thank you!

there are several approaches possible:

will your protein enter the cell or will it bind outside? If you have a specific antibody against your protein, and if this antibody is suitable for IHC or ICC you may find position of your protein in infedcted cells
Check this first

If you have an antibody, you may perform immunoprecipation of infected cells, and analyze binding partners
