Hi

Any ideas why do HaCaT cels respond weakly to drugs? I incubate cells for 24 hours with my drug and when response is measured against control cells, response is in the rnge of 12-20 % only. any ideas?

Have you checked the soluability of your drug? Depending on the hydro/lipophilicity of the cell line and drug, uptake may not happen over a short time.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried incubating the drug with cells  for 1 , 2 hours only. Nearly same cell response. May I'd 've tried longer incubation times.
