Is higher amount of plasmid toxic to the cells in transfection? Why is there a limit for plasmid concentration in transfection?
Because I'm getting pretty better results when using more plasmid than recommended. I get >80% efficiency in 10cm well of HeLa cells when I use 10ug of pEGFP.
