Hi. I'm doing a purification of proteins. but I had been a problem. My protein is bound to albumin(serum). I need a method for denaturation of albumin with a detergen(must be a cationic or neutral detergent). When use a anionic detergent, it is not separated my protein. Any suggestion, Thank you....

Dear Taesoo Kim,
As far as a neutral detergent goes you might try using CHAPS. This detergent has no netto charge (exept for extreme pH values). On the other hand it does not denature the protein to the same extent like SDS does. But if you need to seperate both proteins, CHAPS might work.
