Genes and environmental risk factors (bacterial and viral infection, diet, lifestyle etc) play a role in many polygenic diseases. This is a blog that focuses on the environmental risk factors in Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, Bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, chronic fatigue and others: It attempts to highlight the relationships between genes and risk factors.
