I'm looking for a bacitracin resistant strain of Strep. agalactiae. according to textbooks, St. agal. (group B) IS resistant, with a small % able to grow w/bacitracin. of course, the St. aga. I have from ATCC is one of those few. ATCC doesn't have info on resistance. I need one for a medical school microbiology lab. anybody out there know of a good strain?
