Does a viral gene have introns?
I'm studying human cytomegalovirus (human herpesvirus 5).
There are UL genes and US genes.
I'm not sure they have introns.
Also, where can I find out if they have introns?

As per my knowledge, virus does not have any intron

One plant virus has intron.
Maybe you could look for genome of your virus at ncbi (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/. It will tell you if that virus has intron or not.
