There are some efficient magnetic beads coated with Protein A Or Protein G for Immunoprecipitation. However, I read somewhere said that C1q should be used in the measurement of human immune complex.
Do you have any information about this?

Ya c1q can be used for the measurement of human immune complex because C1q-bearing immune complexes induce IL-8 secretion in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) through protein tyrosine kinase- and mitogen-activated protein kinase-dependent mechanisms: evidence that the 126 kD phagocytic C1q receptor mediates immune complex activation of HUVEC

Thanks for your reply, do you think which protein (C1q, Protein A or Protein G) should be used to precipitate immune complex?
