[Promethean]

My name is Albert Lozano, I am a 3rd year biotechnology student at Seneca College in Toronto.  I am interested in maximizing the growth of wildtype Lambda phage on  E.coli.
I am particularly interested in maximizing the number of phage particles in a cell before lysing.  What are the methods I can use to inhibit cell lysis, and then turn it on at my choosing?  Are the c( I,II, II) genes controlled by a simple inductor like the lac operon?
