HI, I have to grow some bugs with chloramphenicol resistance and I never used chloramphenicol in LB medium before. I'm finding that the chloramphenico powder solubilizes horribly in water. What should I do? Solubilize it in ethanol and add this to my LB? Still solubilize it in water (to the extent that this is possible) and add this to the medium? Any advice on making chlorampenicol-containing LB? Thanks a bunch.
