I make buffer Tris 20mM and EDTA 1mM with pH 8.0. I adjust the pH after dissolving both compunds. I notice that after putting the EDTA there is drop in the pH. Is it ok????
or I have to adjust the pH before adding the EDTA?????

adjust after adding edta (before adjusting to final volume) or make a stock of edta at pH 8 and dilute that into your adjusted buffer and you won't have to adjust again.
