Hi all!
Does anyone knows if I can still use NuPAGEŽ MES SDS Running Buffer (20x) after it has turned yellow? It was transparent, but aapparently after a heat wave (was rather hot in the lab) it became yellow. Thank you for answer!

try it on unimportant samples.
but, in general, when in doubt, throw it out.

I did a western blot a few weeks ago with NuPage MES that turned yellow, and I had no issues. Invitrogen also said it shouldn't cause any problems...light exposure in the lab can also cause it to turn yellow over time.

Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is like expecting the lion not to attack you because you are a vegetarian.
