Hi,

I just use dilutions of PCR fragments as standards for an absolute quantification. However, I wasnīt aware of their tendency to degrade over time. Because of this, it is recommended to add at least 20 bp up and downstream of the primer site of the amplicons via the design of the used primers.
Has anybody an idea whether there are some common used attachments (specific repetitions) since I donīt wont to use any sequence that might be not suitable.
Unfortunately, I wasnīt succesful screeing the internet.. :)

Thanks everybody.
