Hello all,
Can anyone tell me how to extract histones from cells for  western blot? or is their any lysis buffer especially used  for histones extraction?

I ued some antiboides against H3 and some histone modifications, and the lysis buffer I used was quite standard. You can use NP-40 I guess or do the lysis directly in sds 1x
