Hi,

As a preliminary attempt to see if my protein is part of large complexes, I tried crosslinking proteins using DSG. To my surprise, this caused my protein to dissapear from western blots. I figure this probably means that the antigenic epitope (antibody is against peptide) is obstucted. However, this is a DNA binding protein, and I was wondering if anyone knows if DSG crosslinks protein to DNA? This would also explain why I lose my protein.
