hi all... i just want to ask how to quantify Immunofluroescence data? I am going to detect the expression of a certain protein in pancreas by Immunofluorescence. I want to ask how to quantify them and come up with a graphical figure. and can you give me a sample of the figure? thank you so much.

Hi there,

we have a software that comes with the microscope, with which you can get it to select areas with positive staining automatically. After setting the threshold and such, we can get area of positive staining expressed as percentage against total area. And 5 - 10 view fields can be selected per section.

I wonder if image J (a free software) or the latest version of Adobe photoshop cab do the same thing...
