Hi, I have recently done my first RNA extraction from a cell line using trizol. I found that when i came to spectromax the samples i had a high peak before the RNA peak, however the 260/280 ratio is good (~2). I was extremely careful not to remove the interphase or organic phase during the extraction so don't think phenol. Any ideas what i could be doing wrong?
