Canine Lymphocyte Isolation

I am trying to isolate canine PBMCs using Histopaque.  I've tried two techniques:  one using a single layer of Histopaque 1.077, and one with a double layer of 1.077 and 1.119.  Both times, I only yielded about 60% lymphocytes in isolation.  Any suggestions?
