Hi all.

Usually I use a DMEM medium, with Fetal Calf Serum, non essencials aminoacids and glutamine. So, to starv my U87MG cells I understand  that I should use DMEM free of serum, but ONLY free of serum? must I leave the aminoacids in the mixture?

Just starve the cells without serum, that will do.
