I'm trying to transfect NIH3t3  with Calcium phosphate but the efficiency is relly low. Does someone know a way to optimize it or can suggest a different efficient method?  :P

many thanks

Do you need to use calcium phosphate? I've had luck in the past using Lipofectamine on NIH 3T3 cells. The efficiency wasn't all that bad-- I don't remember precisely the efficiency, but it wasn't that bad for my purpose.

For calcium phosphate, if you have to use it, I've always had luck when the all the reagents are made fresh.

Hope that helps!
