Hi,

I have a c-myc TAG antibody (c-Myc (9E10) Monoclonal Antibody sc-40 that detects the  epitope corresponding to amino acids 408-439 within the carboxy terminal.

Can this be used to detect the endogenous c-myc?  The natibody datasheet states that it can be used for detection of c-Myc p67 and c-Myc tagged fusion protein.  Are c-myc and c-myc p67 different or are tehy both beta catenin target proteins.

I rana  western to see if I could detect endogenous c-myc and I got 3 bands of sizes 43, 60 and oe band around 30kDa.
