Does anyone know how to process whole rabbit blood for complement ? I'd like to collect a fairly large volume, which I can do and process it to use the complement but I'm not sure how it's done. Is it collected cold ? Allow to clot first than moved to 4C before processing ? Serum separator, clot activator or normal tubes ? How long in between collection and processing ? I know it should be flash frozen after processing but I'm not sure of the details in between.
