Hi!

I need to measure DNA, RNA, protein and cell wall synthesis in G- & G+ bacteria after treatment with an anti-bacterial.  Most of the protocols I've found involve measuring the incorporation of tritiated precursors.  We aren't set up to work with radiation here - does anyone know any alternative methods?

Thanks!

I haven't done these types of experiment, but have a look for pulse-chase experimentals, there may be some new methods out there in recent times.
