hI! Someone knows a Calcium Phosphate Transfection Protocol for CV1 CELLS (African Green Monkey kidney cells), it would be very helpful.

I saw your question & decided to register here.
My biotech class has excellent results with Promega products (kits.) You might find the protocol there http://www.promega.c...m012/tm012.html

We used Promega Fugene  for Lipofection and pSV-beta-galactosidase (plasmid with blue detector for selection of transfected CV-1 monkey fibroblast cells - counting efficiency on Weds, but I know it went well.

I used lipofectamine 2000 from invitrogen to create stable AGM-CV-1 cell lines and it was successful.
