Hi, I have managed to prepare my phenol solution thanks to mdfenko. Now I have another question for those who have ever made flagella stain.
For the preparation of colorant solution there is a mordant (tanic acid, AlKS208, phenol) and  a cristal violet solution which I have to mix prior to the stain and discard after use. My question now is: How long can I keep the mordant solution? How do i store it? Can I re-use it or I must discard it too?
