I was told by a few facilities that isolating genomic DNA using kits (e.g. Qiagen) for 454 genome sequencing wasn't sufficient, but they weren't able to provide protocols.
Does anyone have a good DNA isolation protocol for bacterial genomic DNA that is sufficient for 454 genome sequencing?
