HI,
I've recently established stable cells overexpressing my gene of interest. However, I've checked the overexpression using the primers used to check for mRNA expression along the coding region. Should I be using primers from the c-terminal end of the vector ?
There is no antibody for this protein yet.

checking mRNA expression level is ok, however, you must monitor the expression on the protein level, either. Think about any functional assay or just showing the overexpressed protein on SDS gels..
