Hi,

I need to collect protein lysate to detect bax protein levels by western following 48 hour transient transfection of my gene of interest. I have a question regarding transent transfection.

24 hours following transfection, do I change medium in the 6 well plates to complete medium or medium containing g418?

for transient transfection you do not select resistant cells by exposure to an antibiotic like G418. that's why it is only transient.
