There are many factors that Can affect the TCID50 results:
Can I ask do you guys several questions?
1. Do you always do TCID50 with the inoculum in the wells or remove them and add new media for the rest of the days
2. How many days do you usually have for the TCID50 inoculation?
3. Does PH affect the infection a lot? I usually see the media change color to orange and I know it is not normal. But this kind of situation happens a lot. So, I leave the 96 well plate's lid on but the media will dry out soon.
4. Anyone used the TC-adapted strain from ATCC company before? Will this strain produce more CPE when infecting cells?
