Hi all,
Our lab does not have a working water bath now. And I wonder if I can use room temperature to strip my WB membrane? or 37C?
I use home made stripping buffer:
62.5mmol/l Tris PH6.7
100mmol/l beta-mercaptoethanol
2%SDS
Thanks!
Stripping temperature

I'd try it at 37C if that's all you have. But if you have a floor shaker incubator that you can adjust the temp on somewhere in your building that would be good too.
If you're desperate try making your own water bath, but I don't know how long you strip for. I almost never strip, just run another gel!
