What are the disadvantages of using Sodium borate buffer for DNA electrophoresis?
How high we can go with the voltage for mini gels?

you can run them at 200V, they should be done in 10-15 mins (use 10-35 volts/cm).

Thanks for the reply. I have read that if one use standard loading dye, resolution is not good at higher voltage (200-250V).

Is it fine to use this buffer, when doing gel elution also.
