hello everybdy....

       i have got a problem regarding primer check....ive got two pair of primers but unfortunately dont knw they are specific for which loci.....can any1 help me how to check that... i was wondering if i could BLAST them..but dont knw how to BLAST it..so is BLSAT the answer..if yes then how to BLAST it...?

Hi, you can use NCBI's primer blast software...

go to primer blast, put in ur forward, reverse primer sequences and the organism, against whose genome, u want to do the BLAST..........whats the problem that u were facing????

problem is that i dont knw for which organism these primers actually are. The only thing i knw is the sequence of the primers which is written on the voile...

so how can i BLAST it without knowing the organism....

by default, the organism name is set to human beings, u just remove that and leave the space blank.....
