Is it feasible to stain for a surface antigen, then fix the cells with methanol and subsequently stain for an intracellular antigen?
I have done with commercial fix & perm solutions, but never with methanol and in the datasheet of the intracellular antibody they say cells should be fixed with this

Ethanol and methanol fixation (for DNA content?) is not compartible with surface staining.
