Hi,
Did anyone here detect miRNAs expression by qPCR? I used the kit from SBI to detect several mature miRNAs expression in several cell lines. I found some of them show single dissociation peak, but some show several peaks. As I have to use mature miRNA sequence as forward primer for qPCR, there is no way to optimize the primer. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks a lot. :P

In general, detecting miRNA by Tagman (ABI) showed higher sensitivity and especially specificity than using SYBR Green (SBI).

Thanks, but tagman is more expensive than sybgreen.
