do you know if there's a list of PhD salaries across EU or US?
Are there big differences between universities belonging to EU?

If you mean salary when you have PhD (not salary/scholarship during PhD study) - "PayScale" website has quite a lot data on this.

There are differences yes.
But in whatever country you work at a university: you will make enough for a nice living. You will not get rich, but you wont be poor either.
If you don't know it, then ask it! Better to ask and look foolish to some then not ask and stay stupid.
