I did Alcian/Alizarin staining for skeletal preparations. Now after KOH-digestion i have the problem that the Alcian for Cartilage is to weak, now i was thinking of staining them again with the alcian solution, but i am afraid that it will disturb the skelets. while the solution is a mixture of ethanol and acetic acid. Does anyone have experience or any oter suggestion?
